Pediatric Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - RI Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Johnston, RI Job Details Part-time | Contract $40 - $65 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized services for a homebound student. This role focuses on delivering speech therapy through telepractice and in-person sessions within a school setting. The assignment spans the 2026-2027 school year, with services required twice weekly.

Responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments specific to pediatric populations Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to the student's unique needs Delivering therapy sessions via teletherapy platforms and occasional in-person visits as needed Collaborating with educational staff and healthcare providers to support communication goals Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation of therapy progress and outcomes Ensuring compliance with relevant state and federal educational and healthcare regulations Preferred qualifications and experience: Valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working within school systems and pediatric healthcare settings Proficiency in teletherapy service delivery and related technologies Completion or active status in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Strong assessment and intervention skills for speech and language disorders Ability to adapt therapy approaches for homebound students in a virtual setting

Johnston, Rhode Island This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a student's communication abilities through focused, part-time intervention. Therapists delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care are encouraged to apply.
