Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Spend each day making a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students in a vibrant school setting near Pawtucket, RI. This full-time, contract opportunity runs ASAP through June 11, 2026. You'll play a crucial role in helping students find their voices and achieve communication milestones—sometimes working within additional community centers in the district for broader engagement and growth in your practice.

Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Previous experience in a school setting working with elementary-aged children. Active enrollment in the Rhode Island Medicare program (required). Ability to travel within the district, including to community centers as needed. Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students across assigned school and potential community center locations. Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain progress records in compliance with state and district requirements. Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to maximize students' academic and social success. Provide consultative support and resources to teachers and parents regarding speech and language development.
