Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available in a school setting located in Pawtucket, RI, serving K-8th grade students. This contract position offers a year-round schedule with 37.5 hours per week and focuses on supporting a caseload of students with severe behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to students from kindergarten through eighth grade Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech and language goals Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support students' educational and behavioral needs Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) Experience or interest in working in a school-based setting with students who have severe behavioral challenges Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a supportive, collaborative team environment
