School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Providence, Rhode Island ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Providence, RI Job Details Full-time | Contract $45 - $50 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with developmental and intellectual disabilities in an in-person school setting near Providence, RI. In this full-time role, you'll work with a caseload of 18-22 students, ages 5 to 22, who benefit from consistent speech-language therapy and behavioral intervention strategies. This position begins as soon as possible, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, totaling 37.5 hours each week.

Skills and Qualifications:

RI Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligible Experience working in schools and with neurodiverse populations is highly valued Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to implement effective behavior intervention strategies

What You'll Be Doing:

Deliver speech-language therapy services on-site to students with a variety of developmental, intellectual, and behavioral needs Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and speech therapy goals Collaborate closely with special education teachers, behavioral staff, and other professionals Track progress, maintain documentation, and communicate regularly with families and team members Provide guidance on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as appropriate
