Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Full-Time | 37.5 Hours/Week | Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a highly supportive team serving students ages 5-22 . This position offers a year-round schedule and the opportunity to work with students who have complex communication and behavioral needs. Responsibilities Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and consultation. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals. Serve students with severe and behavioral needs across a variety of disabilities. Provide individual and/or small-group speech and language services. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation. Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from a regionally accredited institution. Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathology licensure or eligibility for licensure. Experience working with students with complex communication and behavioral needs preferred. Must be comfortable completing Safety-Care training. Strong communication, patience, flexibility, and teamwork skills. Why Join Us?
