Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity making a tangible difference for students across a diverse school community. This position provides flexible caseloads and the chance to collaborate with a committed educational team through the 202627 school year. The assignment runs through June 17, 2027, with immediate start available. Youll be working 35 hours per week, supporting approximately 60 students on average, with potential for caseload fluctuation during periods of greater need. Serving a student body where more than half of families speak multiple languages at home, your expertise will help cultivate communication skills for learners from preschool through 12th grade. Specialized caseloads offer additional varietychoose a standard blended caseload, focus on early childhood/preschool, or work within a bilingual track, depending on your interests and experience.
Qualifications:
Hold or be eligible for a
RIDE PK12 SLP
certificate. Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working in school settings strongly preferred. Familiarity with diverse and multilingual student populations is a plus. Comfort with AAC and assistive technology tools is highly valued. Strong skills in assessment, direct therapy, and collaborative planning.
Role Highlights:
Deliver evidence-based speech/language therapy for PK12 students. Conduct assessments, generate progress reports, and document interventions. Set up, manage, and coach others on AAC/assistive technology as needed. Collaborate closely with educators and families on strategies supporting student growth.
