Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Make an impact supporting students and staff as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic school-based environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity begins in August 2026 and runs through May 2027, offering the chance to work closely with a team dedicated to enhancing communication skills and student achievement.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure in South Carolina Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Previous experience serving pediatric or school-aged populations in educational settings Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver assessments, evaluations, and therapy for students with a variety of speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and family members to support students' success Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based problem solving Stay current with best practices and continue professional development in speech-language services This position offers a welcoming, collaborative environment where your expertise will foster growth for both students and staff.
