9604707-29906 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. With multiple positions available, youll play a vital role in helping children reach their communication milestones within a welcoming educational environment. This role offers a consistent, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and extending through early June 2027.
Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure (or ability to obtain before start date) Clinical experience within school settings, especially with elementary-aged students Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement customized treatment plans for diverse caseloads Familiarity with IEP development and documentation requirements Desire to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic educational setting
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct age-appropriate speech, language, and communication assessments Create individualized intervention plans and maintain detailed progress records Deliver therapy sessions tailored to address speech and language challenges Actively participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families Support classroom teachers to foster communication-rich environments Provide support and guidance to students, staff, and family members Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and district guidelines Imagine having a positive impact on students lives each day while working in a supportive, collaborative community just outside Beaufort, SC.
