9604707-29910 Job Description Make a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary students by providing expert speech and language services in a supportive school setting. This contract opportunity offers a consistent, full-time schedule through the academic year with the chance to grow professionally in a collaborative environment.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Experience or coursework related to providing speech and language services in schools, particularly within elementary caseloads Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to engage and collaborate effectively with students, families, and educators Flexibility working with a diverse range of speech, language, and communication needs Willingness to work onsite in the Ridgeland, SC area
Role Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary-aged students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress Provide direct therapy, consultations, and intervention both individually and in group settings Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and data tracking to support student outcomes and compliance Contribute to team meetings and multidisciplinary support for student educational goals
