Job Description

A rewarding opportunity awaits a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students. This full-time, onsite contract position provides the chance to serve a diverse K-12 caseload, working closely with a collaborative school-based team through the end of the academic year. In this role, you will: Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for students with speech and language needs Develop, document, and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide targeted individual and group speech-language therapy sessions, tracking progress toward each students goals Participate in IEP meetings, interdisciplinary team consultations, and relevant professional development Foster strong partnerships with teachers, parents, and staff, ensuring students receive the comprehensive support they need What sets this position apart: Full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week), including paid administrative and meeting time Serve students at one or two nearby school sitesno virtual-only configurations Manage a dynamic K-12 caseload, obtained in advance for planning and support Collaborate with a committed, welcoming school team in a community-focused environment Candidates should possess: A Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Active (or pending) licensure as an SLP in South Carolina Preferred ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Ability to meet state-mandated background and fingerprinting requirements Previous school-based pediatric experience is valued, but adaptable and motivated clinicians (including clinical fellows) are encouraged to apply If you are ready to make an impact and advance your career as a school-based SLP, submit your resume now to secure a Zoom interview.
