Fleetwood Post Acute is a 102-bed skilled nursing facility located in Easley, South Carolina, and just 15 minutes from the Greenville metro. Join our long-serving staff members (many have been with us over 10 years) and become one of the familiar faces dedicated to caring for our residents. We look forward to sharing our strong culture with you along with the following: $35-50 Reliable hours available PRN opportunities within the largest network in S.C. Full-time options may be available. Please inquire at your interview General Purpose The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates and treats patients, communicates with families, physicians and other health team members and maintains documentation of services in the medical records. Conducts inservices and training for facility staff on an ongoing basis. Qualification Education and/or Experience A master's or doctoral degree in SLP and meet either of these requirements: • Is licensed as an SLP by the state in which they provide services; OR • In the case of a person who practices in a state that doesn't license SLPs, they must have: o Successfully completed 350 clock hours of supervised clinical practicum (or be in the process of accumulating supervised clinical experience); o Performed at least 9 months of supervised full-time SLP services after obtaining a master's or doctoral degree in SLP or a related field; and o Successfully completed a national examination in SLP approved by the HHS Secretary. Proficient in computer skills such as inputting data into programs such as Casamba and Point Click Care. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Licensed as an Speech Therapist in the state.
