Qualifications & Experience:

Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in South Carolina Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Experience in school-based settings, particularly with middle school populations, is highly valued Strong understanding of IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring Comfort with both in-person and virtual therapy models helpful Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for middle school students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and parents/guardians Deliver direct group and one-on-one interventions within the school environment Track and report student progress, maintaining thorough and accurate documentation Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture and provide consultation to faculty as needed
