Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity designed for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) passionate about making a positive impact in school-based settings. In this in-person role, you'll provide much-needed support to a dedicated team, helping to ease the workload on a busy staff SLP. With a manageable schedule of 9-10 hours per week, this is an excellent way to focus on delivering high-quality care and guidance to students while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Ideal candidates will possess:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current, valid state licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY considered) Prior school-based SLP experience or clinical fellowship year (CFY) completion highly preferred Strong background in pediatric therapy and school-aged populations Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation Excellent collaboration, organizational, and communication abilities Key responsibilities include: Conducting speech and language assessments for students Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions Collaborating with staff SLPs, teachers, and educational teams to best serve student needs Participating in IEP meetings; providing thorough documentation Delivering engaging, evidence-based interventions tailored to student goals Supporting caseload management to enhance service delivery for the team This flexible contract position, located near Galivants Ferry and Conway, SC, allows you to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while supporting and learning from experienced colleagues.
