Qualifications/Desired Experience:
SLP - CCC
strongly preferred; will consider dynamic CFY candidates Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist or eligibility Background working with pediatric populations, especially ages 6 months-8 years Solid knowledge of speech-language evaluations, re-evaluations, and treatment planning Experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices Skilled in writing and implementing IEPs and treatment plans Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for students with a variety of speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs Deliver direct and consultative SLP services as part of a multidisciplinary team Collaborate with teachers, families, and fellow specialists to maximize student outcomes Keep thorough records and ensure compliance with state, district, and federal guidelines Use and support the integration of AAC devices for students as needed Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech therapy
