Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs and goals
• Provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and communication skills
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies for continued improvement
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Experience working in a pediatric setting preferred
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and swallowing disorders
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills to evaluate patients' communication abilities
• Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans based on individual needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
