Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting students' communication and academic success as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year. This contract position offers the chance to make a positive impact in education while providing clinical expertise in speech, language, and communication needs on campus near Irmo, SC.
What We're Looking For:
Valid South Carolina SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Experience or interest in working within a school setting Ability to deliver assessments, develop IEPs, and collaborate effectively with educators and families Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and goal-focused learning environment
Your Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs Provide direct therapy sessions to students individually or in small groups Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in accordance with school and state requirements Offer consultation and professional insights on communication disorders to school staff and parents This opportunity brings a competitive hourly compensation between $40 and $50, reflecting your expertise and dedication.
