Qualifications:

Valid South Carolina licensure for Speech Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome School-based experience or strong interest in working within an educational environment Proficiency in conducting therapy, assessments, and developing IEPs Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students in accordance with IEP goals Conduct evaluations, screenings, and re-evaluations for students suspected of speech/language impairment Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate therapy techniques into daily classroom activities Participate actively in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team planning, and district initiatives Document session notes and progress in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
