Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting near Summerville, SC. Desired Qualities and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Possess or be eligible for South Carolina SLP licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered Familiarity with a variety of speech/language, articulation, voice, and fluency disorders in K-12 populations Proficiency in conducting thorough assessments and developing tailored intervention plans Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Experience with IEPs and working in a school environment is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy to students with diverse speech and language needs across elementary, middle, or high school caseloads Complete evaluations and documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines Develop and implement individualized IEP goals while tracking student progress Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams Deliver consultative support to classroom staff for speech and language integration Stay current on therapy best practices and maintain continuing education as needed
