Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting new opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC in a supportive educational setting near Laurens, SC. This contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about helping students overcome communication challenges and succeed academically and socially. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, creativity, and dedication to serve a diverse student population within a collaborative education team.

Qualifications:

Active SLP license in South Carolina Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Prior experience in a school-based setting or serving pediatric populations is highly desirable Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in an interdisciplinary environment

Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs Conduct assessments, analyze results, and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to implement effective interventions Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting and progress monitoring Engage in staff training or consultation, supporting academic achievement Adapt therapy techniques to accommodate students' unique learning styles and communication needs
