Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across diverse populations. Your expertise will support patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations, to enhance their communication abilities and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for patients of various age groups, including early intervention and school-aged children. Develop individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals. Implement therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve speech, language, voice, fluency, cognition, and swallowing functions. Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive treatment approaches. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Provide telehealth therapy sessions when applicable, ensuring continuity of care in remote settings. Educate patients and their families about speech and language disorders and strategies for ongoing support. Perform patient assessments that include analyzing physiology and anatomy relevant to speech production and swallowing. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate comprehensive care plans. Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology practices, medical terminology, and relevant research. Requirements Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist from an accredited program; state licensure or registration as required. Experience with school Settings. Experience working with pediatric populations, including early intervention services and school-based settings. Proven experience in speech therapy across diverse settings such as clinics, schools, or hospitals.
