A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Charleston's oldest and most respected team-based pediatric therapy group, Coastal Therapy Services, Inc. is currently seeking a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our well-established and highly regarded team! For over 25 years, we have provided exceptional Occupational, Physical, and Speech & Language Therapy to children in the tri-county region of coastal SC. Our goal as an agency is to not only provide top-notch treatment experiences, but to also create and maintain a working environment that is supportive and fosters ongoing development for each member of our team. Coastal is not an agency focused on growth, rather our priority is to provide an enjoyable, individualized, and rewarding work experience for our colleagues.
  • Enjoy working from two, well-equipped outpatient clinics and in the natural environment. Our clinic sites boast state of the art suspension systems and sensory integration gyms, a weight-assisted treadmill, DMI equipment, as well as more traditional speech & language therapy materials, equipment, and tools.
  • Experience teamwork and continued learning with a staff of more than 28 seasoned and motivated therapists. Our team is comprised of therapists ranging in experience from new graduates to some with decades of pediatric work. We pride ourselves on fostering opportunities for one-on-one mentoring and therapeutic collaboration.
