Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP license (or eligibility) in South Carolina SLP-CCC or CFY status accepted and welcome Experience supporting children in school settings strongly preferred Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Position Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments, interpreting results to develop tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Deliver direct therapy to students with diverse speech, language, and communication disorders Document progress, prepare reports, and maintain compliance with district and state regulations Support and consult with teachers and staff to integrate strategies into the classroom Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and family consultations as needed Scheduling interviews with prospective candidates and gathering additional details about the specific student caseload ensures clear expectations and smooth onboarding.
