Job Description

Make a meaningful impact working with students by providing speech-language therapy services in a supportive educational setting close to North Charleston, SC. This contract position offers an opportunity to be part of a dedicated team, working directly with students and contributing to their academic and personal growth. Both local and travel candidates are welcome, and virtual options may be available for added flexibility.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
Current, active state license in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with school-aged children is strongly preferred Ability to provide both direct therapy and indirect consultative services Comfortably collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with educators, staff, and families Commitment to upholding best clinical practices and supporting diverse student needs Organizational skills to manage caseload paperwork and documentation Flexibility for onsite, travel, or possible virtual assignments
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services tailored to individual student needs within the school environment Conduct evaluations, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Monitor and document student progress, providing regular updates to teachers and caregivers Attend team meetings and participate in collaborative problem-solving sessions Engage in professional development and interact with advisory supports provided for clinicians
