A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Springbrook Behavioral Health System, a residential autism treatment facility in beautiful Travelers Rest, SC, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our multi-disciplinary team of professionals including Psychiatry, ABA, OT, Special Education Teachers and Dietitian. Position will provide group and individual therapy to children and adolescents functioning at a variety of levels. Flexible Schedule Wide variety of client ages and abilities comprehensive benefit program-+ Excellent compensation Employee Development classes Prefer three 3+ years of experience, certificate of competency and S.C. licensure (or ability to obtain). Those applying should have experience and/or comfort with autism, augmentative communication, and self injurious behavior. Pediatric experience is a plus.
