Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide valuable support within a school setting located in Walhalla, SC. This contract position offers the chance to work directly with students to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, helping them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs. Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies and state regulations. Provide consultation and training to staff regarding communication strategies and accommodations.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). For candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), completion of an accredited program is required. Experience working with children in a school environment preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
