Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving elementary, middle, and high school students through skilled speech-language therapy services. Working in a supportive educational environment, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to empower students and foster their communication growth.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility preferred Minimum of one year's experience in school settings Familiarity with educational IEP processes Experience providing therapy to K-12 students (elementary, middle, and high school) Strong organizational and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals Maintain accurate records and track student progress Participate in meetings and trainings as required by the school Deliver services with a focus on both academic achievement and personal growth for students
