This full‑time, permanent role offers the opportunity to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive‑communication, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients of varying ages Provide therapy to address speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nursing staff Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on home programs and therapy techniques Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards Participate in care planning meetings and quality improvement initiatives Stay current with best practices and emerging research in speech‑language pathology

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program Current South Dakota SLP license or ability to obtain Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) from ASHA Basic Life Support certification Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical reasoning skills
