What this position looks like:

We are looking for someone interested in providing individualized, play based, functional speech and language therapy in a collaborative environment. Potential areas of treatment may include: Speech sound and articulation disorders Expressive and receptive language Early language development Social communication and pragmatic skills Feeding and oral motor concerns, based on therapist training and experience Parent and caregiver education Collaboration with occupational therapy and other providers involved in the child's care Who we're looking for More than anything, we are looking for someone who is a good fit for our patients, families, and team. We would love to find an SLP who is compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working independently while still enjoying collaboration. Someone who values continuing to learn, thinks beyond a worksheet, and understands that pediatric therapy should be meaningful, functional, and FUN.
Our ideal candidate:
Holds a current Tennessee SLP license and appropriate professional credentials Enjoys working with children and families Values evidence based, individualized care Communicates well with parents, caregivers, and other providers Is dependable, organized, and able to manage documentation appropriately Enjoys collaboration with occupational therapy and other disciplines Is willing to continue learning and expanding clinical skills Wants to be part of a small practice where relationships matter A little about GTW Grace Therapy & Wellness was built with a heart for serving families who often have to travel outside of our community to receive specialized care. Our practice currently provides women's pelvic health, maternity and postpartum care, pediatric pelvic health, and developmental pediatric occupational therapy. As we grow, our goal isn't simply to add more services. We want to build a team of providers who genuinely care about the people walking through our doors and about the community we serve. Our culture is faith based, family centered, collaborative, and welcoming. We strive to lead with grace, serve with compassion, and pursue excellence in the care we provide. We are a small practice, which means your ideas matter here. We want our clinicians to have room to develop their interests, expand their skills, and help shape the services we offer. Schedule This is a PRN position with flexibility in scheduling and opportunity for caseload growth. Specific days and hours can be discussed based on therapist availability and patient demand. This may be a great fit for an SLP looking to add outpatient hours to an existing schedule, return to practice on a smaller scale, or become part of a growing private practice without committing to a traditional full time position. We are happy to have a conversation about the position, schedule, and what you're looking for in your next opportunity.
