Qualifications:

Active SLP licensure in Tennessee Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience with middle and high school populations is highly preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and implement effective therapy plans

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication therapy for a caseload of approximately 77 students Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders within the assigned age group Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with students needs Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and caregivers to promote academic progress Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress, and ongoing assessments Participate in team meetings to discuss and review student progress This assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 21st, 2027, offering steady hours (35 per week) and the chance to make a significant difference in students' daily learning and life skills development.
