A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students presenting with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Deliver engaging therapy sessions focused on speech and language objectives Carefully monitor, track, and document student progress to guide therapy Work closely with a diverse team of educators and specialists to ensure cohesive support Educate and involve families in the therapy process, fostering effective carryover and support

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid or eligible state license in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience in pediatric or school settings is highly desirable Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to function both independently and within a collaborative team To qualify: Active license sanctioned by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology Master's degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology obtained or in progress As a valued SLP in this role, you'll have access to competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and dedicated guidance from an advisory team of experienced SLPs in your state.
