Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a positive impact in educational settings by using your speech-language pathology expertise! This contract opportunity offers an engaging role working with students throughout the full school year. As a school-based SLP, you'll provide evaluation, treatment, and support for students with speech-language disorders in a collaborative, onsite environment.
Key qualifications and experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Valid ASHA certification (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or able to obtain) Prior experience in school-based settings preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working independently—no SLPAs assigned Core responsibilities: Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy and intervention for a diverse student caseload Conduct assessments, write reports, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school teams Maintain accurate documentation meeting school and regulatory standards Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to school-wide support initiatives Adapt therapy tools and sessions to meet student needs and maximize success This position is full-time, onsite, and extends across the entire academic year.
