Position Overview:
As a Speech Therapist (ST), you will play an integral role in diagnosing and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient. Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address identified communication difficulties. Monitor and document patients' progress throughout the course of treatment. Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care. Educate patients and their families on speech and language disorders and coping strategies. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patients' evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in speech pathology is
REQUIRED
State licensure and relevant certifications. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care, experience is a plus
