Monday - Friday, 7:20 AM - 3:20 PM (37.5 hours/week preferred; part-time optional) Position Overview Seeking a qualified Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech therapy services to students. This position focuses on assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students with visual impairments. The role requires collaboration with educators, parents, and other support staff to develop individualized therapy plans that meet each student's needs. Required Qualifications Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting. Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's communication needs. Provide direct therapy sessions to students in both individual and group settings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed. Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, school policies, and professional standards. Provide guidance and training to staff and families on strategies to support communication development.
