Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity, making a direct impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students throughout the full school year. Located near Pikeville, TN, this part-time position (24 hours per week) invites you to help shape young lives in an educational setting where your specialized therapy skills make a real difference. Seeking applicants holding a current Tennessee SLP license who are ready to begin as soon as possible. This role is ideal for individuals who are experienced in school-based or pediatric speech-language services—including Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).

Desired Qualifications:
Active Tennessee SLP licensure required Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred CCC-SLP credential or CFY candidates encouraged to apply Skilled in a range of therapeutic services and assessments Strong collaboration skills with educational teams and families Effective written and verbal communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress Deliver therapy sessions in a school environment, adapting approaches to each student's needs Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning Manage a balanced caseload and maintain focused, compliant documentation Benefits of this
