Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Selmer, Tennessee, within a school setting. This role offers the chance to provide essential speech and language services to pediatric and school-aged populations, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Administer therapy sessions focusing on specific speech and language objectives Track and document student progress meticulously to inform ongoing care Collaborate effectively with educators, healthcare professionals, and support staff to coordinate interventions Involve and educate families to support therapy goals and foster positive outcomesQualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice as an SLP in Tennessee Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged clients is advantageous Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, families, and team members Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environmentAdditional Requirements:
