9655595-37187 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity delivering speech and language services to middle school students in a supportive educational environment near White Bluff, TN. In this role, you'll focus solely on providing therapy to a caseload of approximately 45 students, while documentation and data collection remain your primary non-clinical tasks. All testing and evaluations are managed by the lead SLP in the district, allowing you to dedicate your expertise to direct student support.
Qualifications:
Active Speech Language Pathologist licensure for Tennessee Previous school-based SLP experience is highly desirable Strong organizational skills for efficient data entry and documentation Commitment to fostering communication growth in middle school populations Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers and staff
Responsibilities:
Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy sessions for middle school students, addressing a variety of communication needs Collect and record data on student progress, maintaining accurate and timely documentation Communicate effectively with educational teams and families regarding student progress Support students in accessing curriculum and developing effective communication strategies Participate in meetings related to student goals and progress as needed Focus exclusively on therapy; all testing and evaluation responsibilities are assigned to the districts lead
