Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP license for the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered Experience in school settings or pediatrics strongly preferred Knowledge of evaluation tools, IEP processes, and evidence-based therapy practices Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students with a range of abilities Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and educational goals Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote language development and academic success Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines Stay current with best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
