Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference by supporting young learners' communication development in an elementary school setting. This contract-based opportunity is ideal for a Skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who thrives in a collaborative environment, working with children from ages 3 through 5th grade. In this role, you'll manage a diverse caseload of 58 students, including 3- to 5-year-olds who are non-EBRO, as well as elementary-aged children in grades 1 through 5. Your expertise will help shape the educational journey for these students, empowering them with improved communication and confidence.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license for Texas Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Experience working within school settings preferred Strong skills in assessing, diagnosing, and designing interventions for speech-language disorders Effective communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students based on IEP goals Deliver group and one-on-one interventions for students in the assigned caseload Monitor, document, and report student progress Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP seeking a rewarding contract position where you can positively impact a wonderful and varied student population.
