The organization is expanding its service offerings to include Physical and Occupational Therapy, complementing its existing Speech Therapy programs, to better meet the diverse needs of children and their families. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Home Health Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver exceptional speech and language therapy services in the home setting. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and implementing individualized treatment plans for children with speech, language, and communication impairments. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for pediatric care, excellent collaboration skills, and experience working with diverse populations of children with disabilities. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders in pediatric patients. Develop and implement personalized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each child's unique needs. Provide direct therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve speech, language, and social communication skills. Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent progress and support at home and in other environments. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Educate families on strategies to support communication development and facilitate ongoing progress outside therapy sessions. Stay current with advancements in pediatrics, speech-language pathology practices, and telehealth modalities to enhance service delivery. Experience Proven experience working with pediatric populations in clinical or home health settings. Demonstrated expertise in speech therapy, language therapy, and implementing speech-language pathology plans for children with various disabilities. Familiarity with conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for early intervention programs or school-based services. Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams including educators, occupational therapists, and medical professionals. Knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to speech production and swallowing functions. Prior experience delivering telehealth therapy sessions effectively using secure platforms. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pediatrics and speech-language pathology practices.
