9516281-76513 Job Description Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing speech-language pathology services across K-12 settings. A school district near Belton, TX, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated professionals for contract opportunities for the upcoming 26/27 school year. Multiple openings are available for both experienced SLPs with CCCs and those seeking CFY positions.
Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathology License in the state of Texas required Eligibility for, or possession of, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus but not required Strong communication skills and a passion for collaborating with students, teachers, and families Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload from kindergarten through 12th grade
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students across K-12 Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct therapy and intervention both individually and in small groups Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators, administrators, and families Offer consultation and support to school staff regarding speech-language concerns
