e2036-79720 Job Description Step into an opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric care for the 20262027 school year. This full-time, contract position supports K12 students with varying needs, from moderate to profound, and provides the chance to collaborate closely with educators and families. Both local and travel professionals passionate about early childhood and elementary speech-language services are encouraged to apply. In this role, you will: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders within a diverse K12 caseload Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in alignment with each students unique needs Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and parents to maximize student progress Monitor student progress, adjust intervention strategies, and provide documentation according to state and district guidelines Participate in
RTI, IEP
meetings, and contribute to a positive, productive learning environment Assist with early childhood screenings and intervention when needed Maintain clear and timely communication with families and other stakeholders
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Texas Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred Strong understanding of best practices for moderate to profound speech and language needs Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills Ability to adapt services for students with a range of abilities This contract offers competitive hourly pay between $40$60, delivered through convenient weekly payments.
