Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a dynamic school environment on a full-time contract basis through the end of the school year. Conveniently located near Buda, TX, this rewarding role offers the chance to work closely with students at both elementary and secondary levels, including specialized units that support diverse learning needs. Your expertise will help shape students' communication skills and academic success. The position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, providing both consistency and a fulfilling challenge. What we're looking for: Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Texas (or eligibility) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) status Experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred Strong collaboration and communication skills Flexible and reliable approach, able to support elementary populations primarily, with some time at secondary levels (including specialized programs) Commitment to helping students achieve their IEP goals and maximize their learning potential What you'll do: Deliver high-quality speech, language, and communication therapy to students Conduct thorough assessments, write evaluation reports, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop targeted intervention strategies Serve students in both elementary and secondary settings as needed Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements Take the opportunity to make a genuine difference in students' educational experiences.
