Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role serving K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This on-site contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with a diverse student population, making a direct difference in communication, social, and academic outcomes. You'll be assigned to a single campus, providing focused support and fostering strong relationships with students, teachers, and families.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active and valid Texas Speech Language Pathologist licensure is required Prior experience in school-based settings supporting K-12 students preferred Bilingual in Spanish is highly valued Must be able to complete or verify fingerprints through the Texas Education Agency (TEA); results may take up to 10 business days Strong teamwork, organization, and communication skills Ability to manage caseloads of approximately 60-65 students Commitment to on-site service; this role is not open to virtual work
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's unique needs Deliver direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families for holistic student support Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and provide consultation as requested Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines Support and advocate for students' communication and academic growth
