An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students and colleagues in an educational setting near the beautiful Southeast Texas Coast. This full-time, contract position spans the academic year and emphasizes both leadership and clinical SLP skills, with a strong preference for on-site providers but consideration given to well-qualified virtual candidates. Key Qualifications & Experience:

Active Texas SLP license required Experience working within school settings, preferably K-12 Strong supervisory skills or background in mentoring SLPAs Proficiency with Frontline/E-Sped platform is advantageous Commitment to fulfilling Texas fingerprinting and credentialing requirements Previous district employees are not currently eligible for consideration

Position Overview & Responsibilities:

Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) within the district Deliver comprehensive speech-language services to students across assigned schools (specific sites TBD) Provide assessments, interventions, and participate in IEP processes Collaborate with educators, family members, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs Maintain accurate documentation and utilize electronic platforms efficiently
