Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing speech-language services through teletherapy technology, this role focuses on supporting students from kindergarten through 8th grade within a school setting located in Damon, TX. The opportunity is a contract position running through May 2027, with a flexible schedule of 4-5 hours one day per week and a caseload of approximately seven students.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language pathology services to K-8 students, utilizing teletherapy methods to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate with school staff and caregivers to support student progress and facilitate effective communication strategies. Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with professional and school standards.
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification for Texas (SLP TX) is required. Experience in school-based speech-language pathology and comfort delivering teletherapy services. Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language development, including assessment and intervention strategies. Ability to manage a small caseload effectively and provide personalized care.
