Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity awaits for a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to make a meaningful difference in the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position serves students in a supportive educational environment near Denton, TX. Skilled in pediatric and school-based speech-language services, you'll help students achieve their goals through individual and small group interventions.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as required Demonstrated experience providing pediatric and school-based speech-language services Advanced understanding of IEPs, 504 Plans, and school documentation requirements Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in 504 plans, both individually and in small group settings Assess, diagnose, and monitor students with communication, speech, and language challenges Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to design and implement targeted, effective intervention strategies Maintain precise and timely documentation, including progress reports and compliance records Attend and actively participate in 504 meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions Foster a welcoming and inclusive school culture through positive, proactive engagement with students, staff, and families Imagine yourself contributing expertise and compassion in a role where student growth and community connection are valued.
