Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Texas license as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred Prior experience providing speech therapy in school settings Strong documentation and organizational abilities Capacity to travel between one or two close-knit campuses as assigned Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech, language, and communication interventions to students from August 2026 to May 2027 Manage a caseload of students at one or, occasionally, two assigned schools within the district Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain meticulous weekly timelogs for director approval Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development as needed Contribute to a supportive and student-focused educational environment
