Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an opportunity to make a meaningful impact as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, serving a dedicated elementary student population in a dynamic educational setting near Frisco, TX. This onsite contract position runs through May 21, 2027 and offers the chance to support up to 60 elementary-aged students, making a significant difference in their academic and personal development. Preferred candidates will hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), but applicants holding a Clinical Fellowship (CF) will be considered, with supervision provided. You'll enjoy a varied, rewarding role that empowers students to reach their communication goals within a supportive, collaborative school environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Texas SLP license, or eligibility for licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) considered with supervision provided Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Experience working with school-aged children, especially at the elementary level, is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in elementary students Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Provide consultative support and guidance within the school community
