Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Texas SLP licensure (or eligibility) CCC-SLP credential or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Direct experience within school settings preferred Familiarity with ARD processes and school-based documentation Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Core Responsibilities:

Prepare ARD documentation including present levels, goal-setting, and service time recommendations Attend and participate in speech-only ARDs; no case management required for students served by the assistant Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations for elementary-age students Provide targeted therapy one to two days per week as needed Collaborate with teachers, ARD facilitators, and other support staff to develop and implement effective IEP plans
