Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) -PRN Goldthwaite Health & Rehab Center | Goldthwaite, TX Goldthwaite Health & Rehab Center is currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our exceptional rehabilitation team on a PRN basis in Goldthwaite, Texas. Position Summary The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders. The SLP will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to maximize each resident's functional independence and overall well-being. Responsibilities Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, voice, communication, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and established plans of care Provide skilled speech-language pathology services to improve communication, cognitive functioning, and swallowing abilities Perform dysphagia evaluations and provide appropriate swallowing interventions and diet recommendations Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate Educate residents, families, caregivers, and facility staff regarding communication strategies, swallowing precautions, and home programs Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation according to company policy and state and federal regulations Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, dietary services, and other interdisciplinary team members Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary meetings as required Promote a safe, compassionate, and resident-centered rehabilitation environment Qualifications Active and valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply Skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team Career Advantages Full-time employment Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits package Supportive and collaborative rehabilitation team Opportunities for professional growth and continuing education Modern therapy equipment and resources Meaningful relationships with residents and families Clinical Fellowship candidates and experienced clinicians are encouraged to apply Join a team that values compassionate care, clinical excellence, and professional development.
